Rondo
- extra flat- with washable cover The ideal cushion for Yogis and all mediators, preferring a rather low and flat cushion for there daily meditation practise. It’s also an ideal sitting support fore those who are feeling strain when using standard cushions which are usually a bit higher. The cushion is round with a diameter of about 38cm and only 7-9cm high and comes with a washable cover (zippered) the cover has a practical carry band on the side. As all our cushions, it is made in our own work shop and available in our colors and fabrics. The cushion is filled with the adaptable and comfortable spelt hull, which is our preferred filling material. You can refill the cushion your self in case it is necessary. Meditation cushions with Embroidery BODHI
meditation cushions (Zafu and Rondo) are available also with beautiful
and unique embroiderys. You can choose between different designs
and also colours. Our designs are Lotus, OM, Mandala, Dragon,
Sun and YinYang (more details see embroidery). You can combine
any embroidery with any of our fabric/colors. At out online shop
the most common designs are displaced, in case you don't find
the desired combination of embroidery and color/fabric, please
order via e-mail. All embroideries are available only on black
cotton fabric, which makes a good contrast and highlights the
embroidery even better. So; the top of the cushion will always
be black. The rest of the cushion, which means the side and bottom,
can be any of our colors/fabric, as indicated on our color chart
(fabric). You can order Zafus and Rondos in standard size with
our without washable cover and filled with spelt hull ore Kapok.

Yogi
Moon
Half
moon shaped meditation cushion. Due the inward bow there is additional
space for your feet during meditation. It allows you to bring
the heels and feet in closer to the body while having broader
support. This support helps you to tilt the pelvis which then
allows you to sit with your spine straight. The Yogi Moon can
be recommended for most sitting techniques but especially for
Yoga and those preferring a lower cushion for meditation. The
Cushion comes with a removable and washable cover (zippered).
There is a carrying band on the side of each cushion. The Yogi
Moon is filled with buck wheat hull and only available in selected
colours and only in Velveton. All our cushions are double-stitched
for extra strength.

Kapok A traditional filling material in the east for cushions and mattresses. Spelt hull is robust and durable and gives you a perfect and lasting support during your meditation practise. The natural Kapok fibre grows on a tropical tree, called Ceiba pentandra. Kapok is the most used common name for the tree and may also refer to the fibre obtained from its seed pods. The tree is also known as the Java cotton, Java kapok, Silk cotton or ceiba. It is a sacred symbol in Maya mythology. The tree grows to 60-70 m (200-230 ft) tall and has a very substantial trunk up to 3 m (10 ft) in diameter with buttresses. Adult trees produce several hundred 15 cm (6 in) seed pods. The pods contain seeds surrounded by a fluffy, yellowish fibre that is a mix of lignin and cellulose.
